The Room
Is Being Built
For You.

No pitch. No pressure. Just honest work alongside other storytellers who are done growing alone. First cohort is small — 6 to 10 people. That's intentional.

STUCK. ALONE.
The Reality "I Can't
Explain
What
I Do."

You're talented behind the camera. But when someone asks what you actually do, the words don't land. That gap is costing you the work you actually want.

The Reality Isolation
Is the
Enemy.

Doubt grows loudest when you're growing alone. Clarity — the thing that actually builds a career — comes from a room, not from grinding in isolation.

The Reality You're
a Shooter.
You Could
Be a
Leader.

You didn't pick up a camera or phone to chase invoices. Transformation is personal before it's professional. Let's get back to why you started.

I'm
Building
the Bridge
as I
Cross It.

Twelve years and hundreds of interviews taught me the same thing every time: the story almost never starts where the camera does. I know the isolation, the pressure of chasing the next gig, the frustration of knowing deeper impact is possible but not knowing how to structure it. I've felt all of it.

I rarely ask "how do I teach interviews better." I ask "how do I help someone overcome the fear" or "how do I help them find what they're actually trying to say." That's the person before the process. FilmStory exists to close that gap.

Gig-to-Gig Is a Ceiling, Not a Career

There's a way out. It starts with narrative leadership, not just better technique.

Isolation Is the Enemy of Growth

Community is not a nice-to-have. It's the mechanism. Storytellers grow together or not at all.

Transformation Is Personal First

Before your work changes, you change. That's where we start — with what's actually holding you back.

Partnership Over Transaction

We're not here to sell you a deliverable. We're here to build something that lasts.

Track A — The Storyteller Cohort

Find the Story
Before the Camera.

When storytellers grow, their stories change. And when stories change, communities change.

Most training starts with gear and editing. This starts with you — naming what's actually holding you back before we ever talk craft. A small group, real feedback, and the accountability to actually finish what you start.

01
The Reset
Naming the doubt you've been carrying alone — and reframing the room as the place where you don't have to carry it by yourself anymore.
Where It Starts
02
Story Is Leadership
Finding the story before the camera ever comes out — and reframing your role from service provider to the person who leads with it.
03
Vision Before Craft
Surfacing what kind of stories you actually exist to tell — past trends, past algorithms, past what pays — so your direction stops being everyone else's.
04
Craft With Conviction
Making your craft serve the story you found — not the other way around. Conviction, not just better gear.
05
Partnering, Not Producing
Learning the posture shift from order-taker to creative partner — with whoever you choose to work with.
06
Carrying The Foundation Forward
Leaving with a clear story, a repeatable framework, and the confidence to communicate it anywhere — on a call, on stage, or on camera.
Real Accountability
A small group who knows your name, your goals, and won't let you quietly fall off
Live Feedback
Practice your story out loud and get real, honest feedback — not just notes on a video
A Repeatable Framework
Leave with a clear story and the confidence to tell it anywhere
